Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) provides high quality and personalised support and care for over 300 individuals across Fife and Forth Valley. We support the individuals we work with to manage or overcome challenges, including age-related issues, alcohol and drug addictions, autism spectrum disorders, complex needs, homelessness, learning disabilities and mental health issues.

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated individual who has the desire to want to support people to have the best life possible. Those with high empathy and tolerance along with a great sense of humour are key to success in what at times can be a challenging but rewarding role. Ideally you should have experience of Support and Care, however this is not essential as training will be provided.
Although we offer flexible working contracts, we also require a degree of flexibility in your approach to work and it is essential you are able to work shifts which will include weekend working, evenings, waking nights, and sleepovers.

In this role, you will become part of the support team ensuring a high quality of care and support is delivered to individuals within the Dunfermline Service. The staff base for this service is currently in the centre of Dunfermline however support is provided within Dunfermline and Cairneyhill.
Within the Dunfermline Service, specifically, a diverse range of support and guidance is provided to adults including young adults with varying support needs. The support provided within this service is all 24 hour support where we assist individuals to maintain tenancy. The support we provide can include household chores, financials, appointment support, social activities as well as personal care and administering medication. Within the service we do support individuals both physically and mentally, and with this it does bring its own challenges, however training and support to deal with occasions of challenge is provided and ongoing.
As a Support Worker you will work with the service users to ensure needs and outcomes are being provided for. The role is primarily centred around understanding and supporting the day to day living of the service users. Working within this service the successful individual requires to have the passion, drive and dedication in helping others to live fulfilling lives.

Due to new Supported Individuals we are looking to recruit for this new service which includes sleepover service. This is a variety of sleepovers support to 9-3 for Outreach support. You will provide support with day activities in the community, supporting to the cinema, arts and crafts, other clubs including the local disco.
Within this Service we provide high quality support and care to adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues. Individuals may require assistance with an element of personal care, medication, and assisting with daily household tasks within their own homes.
We provide support to individuals in the Glenrothes area, so there is a requirement for you to drive, have a car for work and be willing to use your car to transport service users to activities. The expense of using your car will be reimbursed at a rate of 55p per mile.

The Locheil service, in Glenrothes supports individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities and complex needs. The type of support we provide is from 24 hour support with sleepover to a few hours support per day.
We work with people in their own homes, assisting them to do the things that matter to them and to realise their ambitions. We support a number of individuals who live with family members to access activities in the community, allowing family members to have some well deserved time to themselves.

Experience at supervisory level is a benefit but not essential however an understanding of the qualities and skills required is pivotal.

About the Role
In this role, you will be an integral member of the support team contributing to and ensuring the high quality of care and support for individuals within the Lochiel Service, which is in Glenrothes and in the surrounding area.
Some individuals have complex care needs including epilepsy management, medication administration and manual handling requirements, and the support can involve providing personal care.
