We support the individuals we work with to manage or overcome challenges, including age-related issues, alcohol and drug addictions, autism spectrum disorders, complex needs, homelessness, learning disabilities and mental health issues.
We work with people in their own homes, assisting them to do the things that matter to them and realise their ambitions. We believe that great support leads to great lives.

If you are resilient, have a can do approach and a great sense of humour you will be off to a great start to be a great fit for this service. It is more important to us that you have the right values, characteristics and share our vision of providing excellent support.

In this role, you will be an integral member of the support team contributing to and ensuring a high quality of care and support for individuals with a wide range of support and care needs, including people with Learning Disability, age related conditions and Mental Health issues within our Balfarg Service which covers the Glenrothes area.
We also provide support to one individual with physical care needs including manual handling hoisting, gastrostomy feeding, medication administration and high personal care needs.
The role is primarily centred around understanding and supporting the day to day living of the service users. Working within this service the successful individual requires to have the passion, drive and dedication in helping others to live fulfilling lives.
The service is a core and cluster model so whilst you support people in their own homes on a one to one basis you will have colleagues close by to support you if required.
The people we support, like us all, can have days where they are not as happy and up for the fun things in life. These are the days when they probably need us and the great support we provide the most. Great support knows what to do at any given time but we will always help you with this so you know how to respond in any given situation.
