About the Role
We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to be part of our Grounds Maintenance Team. This role will be based in the West area undertaking year-round work for our customers in landscaped and communal areas. The team will carry out general ground maintenance such as grass cutting, weeding, hedge trimming, low level tree pruning and leaf collection.
Each team will have access to a van for travel between sites, however, you may have to travel to and from site at the start and end of the day depending on your location. You will be provided with all the relevant training to carry out the role.
About You
You will have previous experience in a semi-skilled manual labour role, good customer service skills and be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You will have a full driving licence and basic knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
The role of Repairs Planner is to provide a repair and change of tenancy service to our customers. This includes:
We are looking for a proactive team player with the ability to work in a fast paced role with constant collaboration with stakeholders, a high attention for detail and a solutions focused approach. You will have a passion for excellent customer service and have worked in a customer focused role. You’ll also have strong IT skills and be able to prioritise, plan and organise your own workload.
About the Role You will be part of our in- house team which consists of experienced operatives across all trades. The role involves carrying out repairs and maintenance works in our properties throughout East Central Scotland, Perth and the surrounding areas. As the role is multiskilled you will also assist when required with basic plumbing work or similar. There will also be periodic repairs and alterations to our properties and offices.
You should be a time severed qualified joiner and should also be able and willing to carry out some limited multi-trade works when required. Experience in a maintenance environment is desirable. Part of the role requires you to participate in the out of hours emergency on call rota for which an additional allowance will be paid. In addition to the on call service, evening and weekend work will be required to meet the needs of the service. You must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach and enthusiasm for your work and be able to work well on your own and as part of a team of multi skilled operatives.
You will also be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
